JOB PURPOSE:
The Art department seeks student workers that have sculpture shop experience, can work independently, and are willing to get a little dirty. Hiring priority will be given to art majors/minors and students currently enrolled in art classes. LC sculpture class experience preferred.
This position assists in running the sculpture studio, keeping the space clean, working with sculpture students and faculty to support the curriculum, and upholding safety protocol. Assist in the organization and maintenance of studio and equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sculpture Studio Shop Monitors are expected to clean the studio, set up and take down equipment, prepare supplies for in-class use, document artwork on display, and serve as safety monitors in work areas. Provide access to locked tools and ensure safe use and operation of studio equipment. Student employees must arrive on time for scheduled shifts and stay for the entry shift unless approved by their supervisor. Student workers should begin working independently when they arrive.
