A Little Bit About Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking to hire a Scrum Master that is either located near our corporate office or is able to travel on occasion to the office. The Scrum Master will coordinate an agile development team and ensure all activities use the principles of the Scrum Framework. This person will lead teams through work actions that can be completed within timeboxed iterations called sprints. The Scrum Master would make decisions regarding their own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, requiring minimal direction, and receive guidance where needed.
Requirements
- The Scrum Master must maintain a Scrum Master Certification from the Scrum Alliance or other Gemini approved training organization
- At least 3 years project management and/or Scrum experience
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience can be used in place of degree
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills
- LEAN principles, Flow Chart processes, and Value Stream mapping and understanding a plus
- Ability to analyze, think quickly and resolve conflicts.
- Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
- Strong organizational skills
- Must pass pre-employment screening
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
- Can be remote or hybrid with the ability to easily travel to the office on occasion
Knowledge
- Project management tools, such as Jira, Asana, GitHub, Pivotal Tracker, etc.
- Google Apps knowledge preferred but MS Office acceptable
- Wireframing tools such as Figma and Lucidchart a plus
- High level of industry knowledge
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
- Demonstrate best practices for professionalism and leadership
