Job description
The duties and responsibilities of the Laborer include, but are not limited to:
- Continuously feed material to keep crusher full and ensure no stoppages due to lack of material in process in accordance with tons per hour metric established by Plant GM.
- Removing metal, trash, rebar, organic material and other non-standard materials from feedstock as it is screened before entering the crusher.
- Make simple repairs such as replacing bolts in clamp rails, replacing cracked or otherwise damaged screens.
- Immediately informs Plant Operator of maintenance problems/issues with equipment. Assist with equipment repairs as needed.
- Follows all company policies and procedures in accordance with safety guidelines established by corporate management.
- Other duties/responsibilities that may be assigned by the Plant General Manager from time to time.
The Pay Range for this position is $17.49 dollars/hour to $20 dollars/hour, and the midpoint range of $18.04 dollars/hour. Starting pay rate will be determined by the successful applicant's relevant experience and skill base.
