SCHEDULING COORDINATOR
The Scheduling Coordinator position is responsible for all aspects of managing and scheduling endoscopic procedures for numerous facilities within specific routes across the country. We hold high standards for patient care, so we take customer service seriously. Everyone in the Logistics Scheduling department is responsible for responding_ immediately _to customer calls and working interdepartmentally to find creative solutions that ensure patient needs are met with expediency and quality service.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of substantial scheduling, confirming next day appointments and entering appointment information into system tracker
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously with a high level of organization and precision to ensure appointment records are accurately recorded, cross-checked and verified
  • Take immediate action to follow up on canceled appointments to get explanations and use logistical skills to find solutions that ensure each and every patient is scheduled to receive immediate patient care
  • Possess a sense of urgency with all incoming calls from doctors' offices and facilities in multiple locations across the US
  • Display impeccable communication skills, confidence and courtesy when scheduling difficult or interdepartmental requests
  • Willingness to be On Call for emergency scheduling needs
  • Collect, track and send out monthly Radiation Badges for each Technologist
  • Communicate urgent and significant problems in a timely manner to management
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, logistical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints and meet deadlines while working on a variety of projects/demands.
  • Proficient with commonly used office software and equipment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, a plus!
