Compensation: $74,235.20 Annually

The Director of Dental Scheduling is part of the person-centered integrated care team and responsible for managing scheduling across all Compass Health Dental locations. This position directly supervises all dental scheduling staff and provides direction to all dental scheduling staff across all locations.

Essential Functions:

• Ensures adherence to scheduling across Compass Health Dental locations through coordination with Executive Vice President/Chief Operations Officer, Executive Vice President/Chief Medical Officer, and Vice President of Dental Operations.
• Manages and adds provider templates across Compass Health Dental locations through coordination with Executive Vice President/Chief Operations Officer, Executive Vice President/Chief Medical Officer, and Vice President of Dental Operations.
• Interview, select and develop dental schedulers.
• Supervise and onboard dental scheduling staff across all Compass locations.
• Train and provide direction to all Dental CRS staff in conjunction with their Office Supervisor or Regional Office Manager
• Perform regular review and audit of dental scheduling staff.
• Provide Vice President of Scheduling with operational and staff issues.
• Provide effective communication to assigned staff related to process/procedure changes through coordination with Executive Vice President/Chief Operations Officer, Executive Vice President/Chief Medical Officer, and Vice President of Dental Operations.
• Point of contact for complaints/concerns regarding dental scheduling across Compass Health Dental locations
• Monitor and manage monthly phone reports and on an as needed basis.
• Ensure scheduling voicemails are returned no later than same business day.
• Ensure follow-up on patients who missed their appointment the previous day to reschedule.
• Manage schedule for accuracy, cancellations, and back fill.
• Maintain and update current information on dentist/hygiene schedules.
• Work closely and in conjunction with departmental leaders regarding Dental Scheduling
• Attend all required meetings as determined by the Vice President of Scheduling.
• Conducts self in accordance with Compass Health Network’s policies.
• Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

High School/GED Required
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
5+ year Dental Supervisory Experience Required
5+ years Dental Scheduling Experience Required
5+ years Dental Administrative Support Experience
Knowledge of electronic health records and Microsoft office programs required
