Ganite+Quartz Countertop Templater/CNC Sawyer

We are looking for someone to join our team long-term as a templater/Sawyer. We are a family-owned company established in 2001 that values our team members and treats them like family. We work in all aspects of Granite, Marble, Quartzite, Soapstone, and Quartz (engineered stone). We work in high-end residential with a small production crew and templating/cutting is a portion of the job. While not templating, cutting our crew is cross trained to work production and fabricate in the shop.

We strive to provide our team members with the best possible working environment. We have a clean modern facility, with a heated and air-conditioned shop, heated water for polishing, good lighting, all wet fabrication (no dust), and state of the art install and fabrication tools for efficiency and install equipment to minimize physical lifting.

Templater/Sawyer:

• Templating responsibilities include measure and create accurate Digital templating with the Proliner. (i.e., countertops, full backsplash, waterfalls, shower walls, fireplaces, etc.). Knowledgeable in a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures. This position requires a high level of precision and attention to detail and communication, as the template must be exact for successful fabrication and installations.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in the stone industry
• Digital templating experience (preferably Proliner)
• Proficient with programming in Alphacam
• General computer skills (Word, Excel, Windows, etc.)
• CNC sawing
• Stone & quartz slab installation experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to take measurements and make calculations
• Works well with others
• Organized
• Punctual
• Clean driving record
• Drug and alcohol free (*Pass a background and drug test)
