Hampton Inn Clewiston

We are a independently owned and operated Hilton property located in Clewiston, FL. We recently opened, 16 Jul 2020 being the opening date. This is a new property with a passion for hiring people in the community and promising them a mutually beneficial employment.

Responsibilities for this position include serving both as a sales representative and as a front desk receptionist. As a sales representative, responsibilities include identifying leads, negotiating and drafting contracts, committing sales pitches, coordinating sales efforts, executing sales agreements, creating group and meeting room blocks, answering any phone calls and/or emails, and advertising the property in a positive light.

Requirements include excellent hospitality, communication skills, proper email and phone etiquette, ability to establish trusting relationships, public speaking and negotiation skills, attentiveness to detail and organization, and a motivation for sales. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, writing/presenting in a high level of sophistication, and have a working of CRM systems.

Alongside serving as a sales representative, there will be the added responsibilities of serving as a front desk receptionist to include answering phone calls, responding to emails, checking guests in, creating reservations, handling guest disagreements in a quiet and orderly manner, ensuring the lobby is clean at all times, and the hotel is in safe operation. Shifts will vary from 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, and 11pm - 7am

Prior experience in hospitality is desired but not required. Reception and customer service experience is strongly recommended. Background in sales experience is strongly preferred.

• Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
