Business Analyst - CCBSI FIG Mortgage Finance

About Mortgage Finance:

Mortgage Finance is a Commercial Banking business with offices in Houston, Austin and Fort Worth, TX. Mortgage Finance provides credit and cash management solutions to mortgage and commercial multifamily originators throughout the U.S.

Mortgage Finance focuses on mortgage originators/servicers with annual revenues of $50 million and higher. Our Sales and Credit team in Houston work to develop relationships from prospecting the U.S. market and works closely with our Fort Worth and Delaware Operations team to provide clients with customized, comprehensive solutions and exceptional service.

Within Mortgage Finance, our Sales Support team works with clients to implement access to the business' proprietary website, which supports data sharing, and provide a resource for general technical needs.

Sales Support

As a Sales Support Business Analyst for Mortgage Finance, you will report to the Team leader of the Sales Support team. You will be responsible for various relationship management activities and operational controls for an assigned portfolio of clients. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical contact for each client within your assigned portfolio.

Core functional responsibilities and expectations include but are not limited to the following:

  • Onboarding and implementation of client to business platform - includes the support of building and testing data delivery files, providing web training, and coordination between internal groups to hit target timelines.
  • Deliver demos of business applications to clients and prospects
  • Ability to work with third party vendors to deliver results while prioritizing and maintaining the needs, privacy, and security of the firm and client.
  • Facilitate the collection of data and document requirements for user interface defects and enhancements; execute user acceptance testing (UAT) of business applications
  • Maintain data integrity for reporting purposes that support risk controls of the department, as well as Identify and execute risk controls to prevent fraudulent account behavior and potential fraud exposure
  • Prioritize daily workload to maximize productivity utilizing time management and organizational skills
  • Build knowledge of commercial treasury management products and service

Qualifications
  • General mortgage or banking experience
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, take ownership, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have an understanding of web development processes, including agile
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required; ability to present information clearly.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable learner with an aptitude for assimilating new industry, company, product or technical knowledge. Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Deliver consistent results with the ability to adapt to evolving needs and situations. Enjoy working in a collaborative environment and building/strengthening team building and inter personal relationship skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred minimum of one to three years of data analysis, operations, sales or portfolio management experience, customer service preferably with work experience primarily in banking or the financial service industry.
  • Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
