About FootWorks

In 1973, store-owners and runners Hans and Laurie Huseby realized through many of their healthy patrons that there was a void in running retail. First started as Earth Shoe store by Laurie's father, filling the void became their mission and making runners feel at home was their objective.

As Hans and Laurie spearheaded the growth of the local running scene, their efforts have resulted in organizing fun runs, creating the Miami Runners Club, and produce road races such as the The Corporate Run Series.

FootWorks has developed into the perfect running headquarters helping runners choose the right shoes, clothing, accessories and nutritional products – while allowing space for race packet pickup, group run gatherings, and training programs.

Responsibilities include:
- Greet customers and promote a welcoming environment with quality customer service
- Correctly measure and fit customers and provide feedback based on their training needs
- Operate store POS and maintain accurate balance in cash drawer
- Assist with store upkeep, stock room, and floor presentation. Help with inventory as needed.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment
- Retail Customer Experience Preferred. English & Spanish a plus.
- Fitness/Running Background is a plus but not required.

Schedule:
- Available to work 5-7 hour shifts on weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
- Weekday shifts: 1pm-7pm
- Weekend availabilty is a must
- Tentative Work Schedule: Monday 11-7pm. Tuesday 10am-6pm. Friday 10am-5pm. Saturday 10am-5pm. Sunday 12pm-4pm (34 Hours)
Store Hours: Monday - Friday: 10am - 7pm | Saturday: 10am - 5pm | Sunday 12pm - 4pm
