Acara Solutions is looking to hire a Lead Sales Associate for our client located in Walnut Creek, CA.

Pay: $20-$22/hour

Hours: First Shift Normal Business Hours

Temporary to Direct Placement

Job Responsibilities:

Help support the workload of the manager on duty through focused task organization and implementation support of day-to-day operations

Consistently support the manager in the procurement quality donations for a constant flow of merchandise to the sales floor.

Support the manager in the shop opening and closing procedures including cash register drawer counts and end of day income reporting.

Maintain opening, ongoing and end of day appearance of sales floor, including dressing room clean out, dusting, vacuuming, straightening racks and fixtures and refreshing depleted displays.

Process donations,including sorting, steaming, pricing, and placing merchandise on sales floor.

When appropriate, act on behalf of the Shop Manager in reinforcing policies and procedures as well as making minor decisions regarding merchandise pricing questions and merchandise related customer issues.

Required Experience:

High school diploma

Retail or Sales experience

Excellent communication and people management skills

Able to multitask

Preferred Experience:

Some college, including basic courses in business, mathematics, and economics

Basic financial and operational functions

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
