Job Overview

Responsible for delivering food for the concession operation and performing inventory support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Professional and efficient delivery of food from kitchen to the correct table or location.
• Assuring that the kitchen understands completely all special food requests. It will be extremely important that the runner is absolutely clear as to any specifics as to how the food should be prepared before it leaves the kitchen, i.e. temperatures of meat items, sauce on the side, substitutions, etc.
• Provides inventory control support.
• Working closely with the server on the timing of all food items, being the server’s link to the kitchen for special food orders.
• Expertly and professionally executes opening and closing side work.
• Assist the bus team in the removal and restocking of all dining materials (plates, silver, glassware, etc.…)

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1-3 years of previous experience preferred.
• Requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, and have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
• Must have the ability to follow instructions, ability to perform assigned tasks under limited supervision.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risks associated with travel between buildings and back and forth to other areas as may be required due to business demands. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including second-hand environmental smoke. The employee may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with extremely irate or difficult guests or staff members. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate.
