Clinical Outcomes Specialist

- Work hours: Looking for a Clinical Outcomes Specialist to work Monday-Friday FT Flexible hours.
Here’s What You Need
Education
- Associate's Degree Healthcare related field Required.
- Bachelor's Degree Healthcare, business, mathematics or closely related field Required.
- Master's Degree Healthcare, business, mathematics or closely related field Preffered.
Experience
- 3 Years experience in a clinical setting Required.
- 1 Year auditing/abstraction experience Preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Other Clinical licensure commensurate with area of expertise (if applicable) Upon Hire Required.
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Preferred.
Skills
- Usage of basic office equipment.
- Expertise in clinical data collection.
- Knowledge and usage of various business applications software e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good telephone skills.
- Basic Grammar and Spelling skills.
- Advanced Computer Skills.
- Nursing or medical background
- Strong facilitation/presentation skills/project management skills.
What You Will Do
- Chart Audits.
- Working with several national registry’s.
- Work with Scheduling Supervisor to develop and maintain clinical training documentation and guidance for the Perioperative Scheduling Team.
- Conduct one-on-one trainings, ensure scheduling team is knowledgeable of medical terminology, diagnosis, and CPT codes.
- Manages communication between RN Supervisors and Scheduling team leadership by promoting engagement through open lines of communication.
- Will work with scheduling as clinical and medical terminology expert to ensure proper scheduling and appropriate communication and direction are made to the physicians’ offices.
