Overview

Willingness to learn tasks necessary for rest area maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Clean rest area restrooms.
• Fill all soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and toilet paper dispensers.
• Clean and maintain all rest area buildings and rest area property.
• Clean and maintain all rest area grounds.
• Notify Rest Area Supervisor or Skills Trainer of any maintenance or repair problem.
• Follow daily work schedule as assigned by Maintenance Facilities Program Manager Assistant, Rest Area Supervisor or Skills Trainer.
• Assist public when necessary.
• Discuss any issues of concern to the Rest Area Supervisor.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Must meet Horizons of New Mexico requirements and provide documentation of significant disability.

Education. GED or High School diploma
Experience. Willingness to learn tasks necessary for rest area maintenance.

Licenses/Certifications.

Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). Employees must pass a background check and post-offer drug screen.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:

• 
  This position requires that the employee read, write, speak and comprehend the English language.
• Bilingual skills are not required but are beneficial.
• Follow universal precautions and all work practice controls established by OSHA and Tresco’s Exposure Control Plan.
• Participate in on-going training programs or staff development as assigned.
• Project friendly and helpful attitude.
• Responsible for maintaining safe working environment.

Rate of Pay: $15.00/hr

Hours: Thursday -Sunday 7am-5pm
