Village Behavioral Health is a community-based counseling agency committed to providing high-quality emotional and mental health care to children, adults, and families We are looking for a full-time Residential Manager, who is energetic and driven, for our Residential Crisis Program. This individual must have 2 to 3 years of management experience. This person will help develop, lead, direct, and oversee the day-to-day operation of the crisis facility. This candidate must be flexible, open-minded, and a team player in the mental health industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all processes related to the residential crisis program.
- Manage 8 to 10 direct care staff to ensure expectations of programs are met in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures along with state and federal laws.
- Responsible for managing, organizing, reviewing documents and charts assigned to ensure their quality and accuracy and provide administrative supervision to staff regarding issues identified.
- Responsible for creating the monthly schedule, assisting with finding coverage for open shifts, and providing coverage for shifts that have no coverage.
- Actively participate in the referral process with team members to facilitate the screening, admission, and intake processes.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Experience in managing organizational projects to include balancing competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to be articulate concisely, compellingly, and diplomatically.
- Ability to think strategically, critically, and creatively.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements and essential functions of the job.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Mental Health professional certificate issued by the department of health professionals is preferred.
- Must have at least 2 to 3 years of management experience with managing people.
Crisis House Managers are required to use their personal vehicles or the company vehicles to perform some of the duties assigned to their jobs.
