This job consists of assisting the Resident Care Coordinator and Administrator

Must be a CNA who works the floor covering open shifts along with the support of the management team.

We are looking for someone who loves working with the elderly, good at communicating as you will have interactions with people from all walks of life where problem solving skills and communicating in a timely manner and respectfully is key.

Expected responsibilities

• Destroy medications

• Sort and file papers/documents

• Shred papers/documents

• Scan and upload paperwork/documents

• Print and replace facesheets

• Check medication refill form

• Order medication refills

• Check cycle fill

• Add/discontinue medications

• Navigate the MAR effectively

• Check 1 month MAR

• Check the time of medication administration

• Check medication list (current and discontinued)

• Check medication errors/incident reports

Personal Responsibilities

• Empty shredder

• Clean office

• Create weekly staff schedule

• Check supplies (milk, cups, trash bags, etc)

• Check for low meds in carts (during floor shifts)

Other Responsibilities

• Report to facility Nurse

• Help cover/find coverage for shifts

• Watch staff messages

• Help with office phone calls when possible

• Fill in for Resident Care Coordinator when she is gone

• Send emails

• Make phone calls

• Watch for faxes

• Print, send, and upload faxes

• Watch for medications to come in

• Meet with medical professionals

• Assist with things listed above when needed

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
