Adapt Integrated Health Care is currently looking for a full-time Residential Assistant to join their Crossroads Residential Facility.

Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including graveyard and be available to be on-call. All eligible candidates must be willing to work Saturdays and Sundays.

The Residential Assistant position provides the bulk of the direct individual supervision and day-to-day care. The primary objective is the maintenance of a safe environment for the individuals and staff.

Job Duties:

• Provide transportation to authorized functions.
• Enforce residence schedule and rules as well as chart and log activities and events that occur while on duty.
• Provide minimum emergency intervention as appropriate.
• Act as receptionist and provide information to residents and outside callers.
• Monitor and chart medications; monitor supplies and recommend requisition of same.
• Adhere to schedule as written and attend all required meetings.
• Supervise family visits and recreational activities.
• Provide a stable environment for adolescents who suffer with mental health and chemical dependency issues and assure safety and appropriate behavior.
• Assist individuals with therapeutic assignments.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Oregon Driver's License
• Skilled in written and verbal communication
• Ability to provide accessible treatment-based services

The successful applicant will be personable and have compassion for those suffering from the disease of addiction. They must also be able to provide driving history from DMV and a current driver's license prior to interviewing.
