Our Research and Development division is looking for a 4–6-month project management co-op! This is a great opportunity to learn project management tools and methodology. The successful candidate needs to be available from April 3, 2023, through September 22, 2023.
Tools: Microsoft Project and OnePager
Methodology: Hands on experience leading drug development teams by creating agendas, leading meetings, and authoring meeting minutes
Work with team leaders to identify risks and mitigation plans
Primary Responsibilities:
Support project managers by creating and managing timelines, deliverables and leading working team meetings
Create agendas for development and lifecycle management team (DLT) meetings and capture meeting minutes
Confirm that action items are completed, and project updates are received
Identify any delays or risks to the project and ensure they are communicated to the team
Coordinate meeting times for multiple meeting series
Understand how scope changes impact resource needs, including some resourcing data analysis
Communication in a cross-functional team
Improve problem-solving skills
Understand the drug development and medical device process within an established business
Education Minimum Requirements:
Pursuing a degree in science, engineering, business, or equivalent with an interest in pharmaceutical or medical devices
Required Experience and Skills:
Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Motivated individual
Solid written and oral communication skills
Science, Engineering or Business
