Cortland Repertory Theatre (“CRT”), a nonprofit live theatre with locations in the City of Cortland and Preble, is seeking a part-time rental hall cleaner. The rental hall cleaner is responsible for ensuring the space is clean and ready before each event.

The Rental Hall Cleaner will:

· Sweep and mop floors of hall and catering kitchen.

· Wipe down / clean counters in reception hall and catering kitchen.

· Remove trash to onsite dumpster.

• Have the capacity and willingness to work flexible and irregular hours.

· Have ability to commute to the Dwyer Park Pavilion, often at early morning and late evening hours.

Schedule

· Variable depending on rentals, but mostly Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays throughout the summer. This is not a consistent schedule.

· This will occasionally require overnight hours.

Pay

· $50 per cleaning. It usually takes 90min to 2 hours to clean.

The hall manager will frequently be the first interaction customers encounter with CRT and so, we seek mature, professional, and responsible individuals.

The Rental Hall Manager will:

• Serve as onsite company representative for all rentals in the Stars Reception Hall at the Dwyer Park Pavilion.
• Serve as key carrier for the reception hall. Meeting clients to lock / unlock facilities.
• Be onsite throughout the rental event and available to answer any questions that may arise.
• Exhibit excellent public relations skills by addressing CRT’s patrons, staff, and volunteers in a respectful and friendly manner.
• Demonstrate a collaborative team effort with other CRT employees by operating in a respectful, enthusiastic, positive, and friendly manner.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing and analyzing complaints, concerns, and suggestions.
• Be able to handle potentially stressful situations with ease and maturity in a fast-paced work environment.
• Have the capacity and willingness to work flexible and irregular hours.
• Have ability to commute to the Dwyer Park Pavilion, often at early morning and late evening hours.
