Rehabilitation Counselor in Fitchburg.

Organize and lead social skills and coping skills groups centering on concentration on tasks, interpersonal relationships, vocational skills and personal issues.

Provide a safe environment and help teach social, emotional and ADL skills to clients.
- Coordination of client services with program staff and other members of the client treatment team
- Complete documentation in a timely manner
- Attend and participate in assigned staff meetings and trainings
- Client crisis intervention
- Perform other related professional duties required in order to provide quality clinical programming
- Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.

Grade C02: Requires HSD/GED/HiSet, Associate preferred.

Grade C04: Requires a Bachelor’s degree; preferably in the field of psychology or human services

Experience in psychosocial rehabilitation model preferred

Knowledge of the rehabilitation process, including vocational, social and community living skills

Current valid US issued driver's license and ability to provide a registered, inspected, insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites
