Overall Purpose:
DLC is seeking candidates for the role of Regulatory Consumer Relations Associate. The role will a temporary part-time position for up to 1 year and is part of the Regulatory Consumer Relations department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible to research and resolve PUC complaints. Prepare reports for informal complaints.
- Formulates and advocates Company position, negotiates settlements.
- Reviews the company processes regarding interactions between customers and employees to ensure that all activity is within regulations and Company procedures.
- Communicates with PUC investigators and customers in order to negotiate complaints, satisfy inquiries and complaints, and provide required information.
Requirements:
- 1 + year of customer service, government relations/external affairs experience. Familiarity with PAPUC Regulations chapters 14 and 56 is a plus.
Experience/Skills:
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written to research issues and communicate with all appropriate parties accurate and factual information; Excellent analytical ability to research, review and assess issues and recommend/implement problem resolutions.
Work Environment:
- Position is considered variable on-site, meaning this position will primarily work remotely and may be required to report to the office or another location on a regular or occasional basis. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs.
