• The Registered Nurse (RN) is an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients/families/legal guardians. The Registered Nurse (RN) works collaboratively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team and contributes to each patient's individual treatment plan by helping develop, implement, and document appropriate goals and interventions, informed by patient strengths and presenting psychiatric problems.
• Administer health assessments and complete necessary forms.
• Administer and read TB tests.
• Referrals to appropriate health agencies.
• Providing health education on a variety of topics to clients, including but not limited to: general health care, medication, diabetes, safe sex, dual diagnosis, and nutrition.
• Provide resource materials.
• Technical consultation for Mental Health Workers.
• Observes medication procedures and make recommendations.
• One-on-One nursing counseling as needed.
• Keep staff appraised of any potential client issues.
• Medical records documentation as required.

• RN license within the State of Arizona required.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience: Previous psychiatric / substance inpatient experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Restraint Reduction de-escalation / crisis intervention experience preferred.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor’s degree (Preferred).
• Experience 1 Year experience in area of clinical specialty (Preferred).
• License/Certifications RN Registered Nurse License (Required).
• BLS (Required).
