Crown Health is accepting applications for a Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) in Versailles, KY. This full-time opportunity is on the 1st. shift pays a salary of $54,000 - $72,000 a year., with a 10k signing bonus, and is available immediately!
This career opportunity is temp with intent to hire. Main Duties & Responsibilities
As a Surgery Registered Nurse (RN), you can expect to:
• Document patient care as given in Med-Host, Nextgen, and Exit
Care (EMR systems).
- Assess, monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assures all pre-operative requirements are met before transfer to the operating room.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Evaluate the learning needs of the patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of
the patient.
- Follow Infection Control and Safety Guidelines
- Successfully complete the Skills Competency Checklist
- Monitor and maintain sterile technique in the operating room. Serve as a scrub nurse when needed, as appropriate.
Serious candidates will have the following experience, skills, or education:
- ADN or BSN
- Minimum one year of experience in surgical service
- Current unrestricted State of Kentucky Registered Nurse (RN)
