Eagle Crest Communities is looking for a caring and compassionate nurse to join our team of dedicated staff! This position will work alongside the Facility Manager at The Willows serving residents in our 30 apartment Assisted Living facility and alongside the Program Coordinator and primary nurse in our Hearten House Memory Care communities in La Crosse, serving up to 24 residents.

Responsibilities:

Being a Nurse is not just a job, it is a meaningful experience that goes beyond a paycheck. In this position you will

• Become familiar with each resident’s care needs
• Work with the residents and other care providers related to medical concerns, new admission and routine assessments as well as discharge planning.
• Educate and supervise Resident Care staff in medication administration and resident care, delegating tasks as appropriate

Schedule:

• Primarily M-F Day shift
• Scheduled 72 hours each two week pay period
• Participate in the Eagle Crest Communities on call rotation, collaborating in a supportive environment with our Triage Nurse Team who provide medical on-call support to staff on evenings and weekends
• The successful candidate must have the flexibility needed to best serve our residents

Requirements:

• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of Wisconsin, or eligible for transfer
• Demonstrated knowledge of gerontological nursing
• The ability to think critically and problem solve with staff and available resources
• Basic computer skills and the ability to adapt to new software
• One year of prior nursing experience preferred but not required—We will train the right fit for our team!

Wages:

• Licensed Practical Nurses starting $28.25+ per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
• Registered Nurses starting $35.50+ per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
