Eagle Crest South (La Crosse, WI):

Full Time Positions & Part Time Positions available

• AM Shift Times: 6:00am-2:30pm; 8:00am-12:30pm
• PM Shift Times: 12:00pm-8:30pm and 4:00pm-8:00pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm and 4:00pm-9:00pm
• NOC Shift Times: 10:00pm-6:30am
• Every other weekend off; Premium Pay for working every weekend position
• Casual Call; casual call positions work at least three scheduled shifts per month to assist with staffing needs on the AM, PM or NOC shift, with at least two being weekend shifts when needed, participates in the holiday rotation and on-call rotation (as needed).

Part time and full time positions participate in the holiday rotation and participate in the nurse on-call rotation as needed.

About the Position:
Come join our care team! The work you do with us is meaningful and worthwhile at Eagle Crest South in La Crosse! We are looking for individuals to join our team of dedicated and hardworking nurses and caregivers serving the 140+ residents of our retirement and life community. In this role, you will primarily work with our 34+ residents in our high acuity assisted living apartments or 30+ memory care apartments. Occasionally, you may be asked to assist in our independent living plus apartments.

Our Nurses are responsible for the supervision of resident care and services, ensuring that residents receive proper care and treatment, that their health and safety are protected and promoted and that their rights are respected. This position is also responsible for the supervision of the Resident Care Assistants regarding distribution and documentation of medications, treatments and side effects of medications, assist in training and competency reviews, provide physical and behavioral assessments of residents, update Individual Service Plans utilizing care team input, maintaining compliance with DHS 83 DHS 89, Eagle Crest South Program statements, and Bethany Lutheran Homes Inc policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be currently licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin as either a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
• Must have demonstrated interest in gerontological nursing including rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices, diabetic care, memory care and end of life care
• Experience working in assisted living, long-term care and/or community health is beneficial, but not required—We will train the right fit for our team!
• Background checks are completed after an offer has been made; offers are contingent upon successfully passing a background check.

Our Wages:

• Our starting rate for Licensed Practical Nurses is between $27.00 and $31.00 + per hour, based on your experience and qualifications and our starting wages for Registered Nurses is between $34.00 and $39.00 + per hour, based on experience and qualifications. We’ll review your wage at 6 months – we pay for high performance! PM, NOC, and Weekend Differentials apply!
