Job Summary:

• You will oversee and direct the care of psychiatric patients within the Emergency Department.
• You will be the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated care for your patients.
• You will oversee and direct the care of assisting personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
• You will have the unique opportunity to gain emergency room and trauma experience and expertise coupled with psychiatric nursing.
• Within the first year the RN will have gained basic emergency and emergency department pathways, knowledge, and skill sets.
• When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
• Current BLS
• ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment
• CPI within 6 months of employment
• 1 Year of RN Experience
• ER or BH experience highly preferred
