Provide culturally sensitive nursing care to a diverse university community in the NYU Student Health Center; The NYU Student Health Center (SHC)serves as the main resource for primary care for NYU students, providing healthcare services that are student centered.
Provide direct, individual patient care and education to a diverse University community in accordance with established standards and medical ethics.
This position will perform Primary Care nursing duties in our NYU Student Health Brooklyn Location as well as occasionally support staffing at our Washington Square site.

The nurse will assess, triage, and provide nursing support to students presenting with acute or chronic illnesses, with injuries, as well as to those seeking preventative care both in person and via telemedicine.

Required Education:
New York State RN license
Preferred Education:
BSN
Required Experience:
2 years experience as a registered nurse.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in an ambulatory environment. Emergency room experience (urgent care only); OB/GYN experience (women's health services only).
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
BLS certification
Additional Information:

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $120,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
