We are searching for a Behavior Technician who can help our children reach their fullest potential. The Behavior Technician will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of behavioral plans, creating and maintaining a safe environment and provide outreach services to families and schools. This position requires a warm, nurturing nature as well as excellent communication skills, as the Behavioral Technician will be running outreach programs in local schools, at parent meetings and other community events.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and modify behavior problems via a variety of techniques.
• Assess and administer medication as prescribed by licensed healthcare professionals.
• Observe and evaluate behavior of children with autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, psychiatric disorders, and other complex health needs.
• Assess clients' physical status, including vital signs, weight, and height.
• Work effectively with client's family members, parents/guardians, teachers, service providers, and other professionals.
• Programme/manage behaviour plans to improve client's quality of life.
• Assess client's behavior during activities of daily living.
• Document assessment findings.
• Provide parents/guardians with feedback regarding their child's behavior.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
