A Regional Trade Marketing Manager - Central Region, Remote position is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE).This position will be responsible for obtaining brand-aligned promotion partners to support regional promotions; as well as present brand marketing plans to sales and assist in presentations to key account buyers.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with Sales Region Teams to plan regional promotion strategies and tactics that deliver against company growth goals and align with brand focus periods, based on budget and need.
  • Deliver promotions, based on and in accordance with, brand-allocated marketing budgets that follow brand standards.
  • Support sales in execution tactics that support and execute brand-initiated national programs.
  • Lead and support sales in the development of regional promotions that fill gaps and/or key account needs.
  • Consult with marketing teams in concept and brainstorming phase of brand programming to provide sales voice as needed.
  • Secure and/or maintain partners to support regional promotions that remain aligned with brand standards and budget availability.
  • Understand and follow contract negotiation and execution as it pertains to company policy and compliance standards.
  • Manage multiple promotions at any given time [to include any/all of the following: sponsorships, partnerships, outside vendors for POS production, agencies and venues].
  • Present marketing promotion plans to sales and wholesalers; communicate updates and manage execution details with support of region admins.
  • Work actively with sales teams and wholesalers to understand market and key customers’ needs; assist in key presentations and meetings to support brand and sales initiatives/goals.
  • Present region promotion plans and budget spend to brand managers for approvals.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2-5 years’ professional experience preferably in sales; promotion development or CPG experience also preferred.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team culture, and understand role within cross functional team dynamics.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and problem-solve quickly, effectively.
  • Proven presentation and leadership skills.
  • Computer proficient, primarily in Microsoft Office PPT and Excel;
  • Self-driven and accountable; comfortable working in office or remote work environment; ability to take initiative.
  • Confidence to say NO and understand when to seek management support.
  • Team attitude with a strong desire to achieve, improve and accomplish success.
  • Analytical skills a plus but will be developed.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

Your Compensation:

$89,800 - $116,700/yr. based upon relevant experience.
