General Summary of Job Duties

Assist in the development and management of the company's system infrastructure and communications technology and provide the most efficient support for current operations and future information technology (IT) needs.

Essential Job Function and Duties

  • Assist with the process of developing and implementing the IT system for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Help define future requirements and coordinates planning for installing system improvements of technological developments.
  • Be responsible for hiring support staff, training, and supervision.
  • Monitor systems to support company operations and service in the most efficient manner and suggest modifications to Regional Director and VP infrastructure as needed to give maximum support.
  • Ensure the reliability, efficiency, and confidentiality of information system.
  • Running regular checks on network and data security.
  • Support all systems both desktop and gaming.
  • Assist with the network management, including wide area, local area, and remote access capabilities.
  • Maintain system with provision for continuity of operations during any disaster recovery or other emergency situations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Management.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow team members, and vendors.
  • Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
  • Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Machinery, Work Equipment, Programs, Software, Hardware Used

  • Various Scientific Games (SG) software applications (SDS, CMP, EBS)
  • Agilisys – Infogenesis (POS, Admin), Datamagine
  • Micro Soft Office programs – Windows WS and Server Platforms, Exchange
  • Remote Access Software – Varied List
  • Network Diagnostics Hardware and Software – e.g., Wireshark, Fluke, etc.

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Uphold gaming rules and regulations for all I.T. Systems.
  • The ability to maintain composure in a potentially stressful environment.
  • The ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
  • Must have the ability to successfully interact with other team members and management.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
