Regional Human Resources Manager
Job description
The Regional Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing guidance and support in all areas of HR to include but not limited to employee relations, training, workforce planning, policies and procedures creation and implementation. This person will support our skilled nursing facilities in the Rio Grande Valley and Corpus regions, or any other region assigned by the VP of HR. The ideal person will be based in any city in the Rio Grande Valley and willing to travel around 75% of the time. Reports directly to Vice President of Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
- Reviews cases and make recommendations for personnel decisions (hiring, performance management, terminating)
- Timely and effectively conducts complaint investigations
- Develops plans for correction and provides problem resolution
- Delivers HR training for all levels of staff
- Oversees facility HR Coordinators by monitoring performance and providing coaching
- Responds to EEOC and TWC claims
- Conducts mock audits and annual review of employee files, binders, and HR processes
- Tracks and reports HR data and metrics
- Develops and implements employee engagement programs
- Responsible for pre-employment and on-boarding consultation and support
- Accountable for the ensuing recruiting processes and policies are followed
- Other projects and initiatives as assigned

Requirements
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience supporting multiple locations or sites is required
- Must have at least 3 years of management experience overseeing multiple locations
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other related field is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish (read, write, and speak) is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must
- Action and customer service orientated with the ability to multi-task and work independently
- Effective conflict resolution skills
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing human resources
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to travel up to 75%
