With a recent company expansion in Ohio Legacy Health Services is currently recruiting a highly successful SNF Administrator with a proven track record of overseeing multiple facilities as a southern Regional Director of Operations.

The Regional Director of Operations responsible for overseeing the operational and administrative functions for an assigned group of skilled nursing facilities and assisted livings in the Northern Ohio. Responsible for promoting, encouraging, and assisting each assigned facility to become and/or maintain a five-star CMS Medicare rating.

Job Functions:
  • Operationalizes business plans and translates initiatives into action plans for the facility leadership with appropriate performance measures to ensure expectations are being met in all aspects of the facility management.
  • Solutions oriented individual that regularly brings ideas to the table that will enhance and grow the company to ultimately provide better care and services to our patients.
  • Assumes fiscal responsibility for the assigned group of facilities through budgetary planning and implementation.
  • Assumes census growth responsibility for the assigned group of facilities through developing and maintaining census and meeting budgeted expectations.
  • Assumes building maintenance and cleanliness responsibilities throughout with regular rounding and specific expectations being met.
  • Establishes and monitors process improvement initiatives to achieve value-based outcome metrics.
  • Ensures quality patient care is provided daily with the Facility Leadership and the Legacy Health Services Clinical Team.
  • Identifies facility leadership succession planning with special emphasis on growing, retaining, and recruiting facility leadership.
  • Develops and enhances relationships with community, other companies, organizations, and groups that expand the effectiveness of the mission.
  • Serves as a member of the leadership team at Legacy Health Services providing strategic direction on operational related issues.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred) in Business Administration or related field of study required.
  • Current unencumbered Federal and State Nursing Home Administrator license.
  • Preferred: 2+ year of experience in a supervisory capacity as a Regional Administrator. Also, will be considered, a seasoned Administrator (minimum of 5+ years) that has excelled with achievements over and above the normal, and has worked and grown with a steady consistent work history.
  • Maintain a demonstrable knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations that could impact the facility.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and multi-tasking skills required. Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, train, lead and direct the work of others.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize and balance multiple responsibilities. Ability to travel regularly to each assigned facility.
  • Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam, if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
