The Talent Acquisition Partner acts as the main point of contact for both candidates, hiring managers and leadership throughout the talent acquisition life cycle. Promotes an environment of creativity and innovation focused on process improvements, as well as breakthroughs that support the organization’s mission and further its vision. Champions implementation of approaches that improve Talent Acquisition processes, approaches, tools and outcomes.
Critical Work Relationships and Workflow Interdependencies
The Talent Acquisition Partner (Temp) will work under the supervision of the Director of Employment and Employee Development and under the general direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer. This individual will have contact with administration, leadership, employees, educational institutions, and other external parties. The Talent Acquisition Partner will not have supervisory responsibilities.
Qualification Requirements
Four years of college in a related field, and a minimum of two years of recruiting or recruiting related, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience working with Applicant Tracking System is preferred.
Duties and Responsabilities
Talent Acquisition Programs’ Architecture
Key partner to assigned client areas and ensures hiring leaders and applicants experience timely, and customer-focused integrated recruitment services. Responsible for end-to-end, full-lifecycle recruitment for specific roles, geographic locations, and/or levels and positions. Incumbent will be responsible for hiring a minimum number of employees based on annual recruitment strategy and goals and may vary from month-to-month based on business needs.

- Perform full cycle recruiting to meet the organization's operational needs, including sourcing talent, evaluating candidates, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and extending/negotiating offers.
- Create and executes comprehensive, tailored and/or segmented sourcing and recruitment strategy (including costs) using multiple forums, partners, and (social) mediums to develop pipeline of candidates for critical and specific roles hard-to-fill, clinical, education, and/or for high-volume positions within the organization.
- Prepare and/or review job requisitions, descriptions, and postings to establish an understanding of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required of potential candidates.
- Communicate compensation, benefits, job responsibilities, and work environments to all potential candidates, as well as deliver candidate declines with compassion and a timely manner.
- Present pre-qualified top candidates to hiring managers, develops/negotiates offers with candidates and creates the onboarding experience for all new hires. Manage all candidates and documentation in the applicant tracking system
- Serve as liaison with specific colleges/universities, technical schools, associations, agencies, etc., to build partnerships that will yield candidates for hard-to-fill and high-volume positions. Networking and maintaining relationships through industry contacts, colleagues, etc., to identify candidates (active and passive).
- Recommend workflows, processes, and policies to streamline the recruitment process.
- Co-leads in the designing, building, implementation and management of strategic sourcing and talent acquisition programs. Explores proactive, traditional and innovative approaches to Talent Acquisition. Balances providing subject matter expertise with fostering open communication.
- Participates on the development and leverages local/regional network and online recruiting resources to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
Lead and Execute HR Operational Excellence
- Act as a partner and consultant to your hiring managers, advising them from intake to close.
- Identify opportunities to influence change in Talent Acquisition practices, ensuring consistency in approaches and simplifying and standardizing the way we operate across all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams to develop strategies to improve employee retention.
- Assist with hiring manager training and tools, orientation content, and communication plans for new hires and their managers in collaboration with Talent Acquisition.
- Support new hire onboarding activities to strengthen new hire retention.
- Participates and takes an active role in department/organization/ responsibilities/projects, and performs special projects related to recruiting, employment branding, and the overall selection process.
