Friendship Village of Dublin is looking for a Recruiter who is responsible for coordination of the recruiting, employment, and orientation processes. The recruiter is also responsible for providing administrative support for various human resource functions
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ensures recruiting and employment functions are in compliance with federal, state and local laws plus applicable Village policies and procedures of Friendship Village of Dublin.
2. Develops and maintains multiple resources to build an applicant pool, advertises job openings.
3. Ensures the proper distribution of applications to hiring managers. Assist hiring managers with the review of applications and resumes, conducting phone screens, and interviewing applicants.
4. Extends verbal job offers as directed by hiring managers, coordinates pre-employment requirements and orientation meeting, and confirms these details in an offer letter.
5. Ensures all pre-employment requirements, including background checks, license verifications, reference checks, drug screenings, and onboarding paperwork is completed.
6. Conducts new associate orientation to introduce FVD, policies, and procedures. File and distribute new hire paperwork, maintaining records according to regulations.
7. Tracks recruiting methods for best results; maintain records, costs, ad copies and applications, according to regulations and policies.
8. Enters new employee information into HRIS and various employee systems, and assists in processing all employee information changes.
9. Assists in the completion of employment verifications.
10. Attend and participate in monthly Safety Committee meetings.
11. Assists with, and participates in, associate recognition programs.
12. Communicates with HRBP regarding associate issues and morale, ideas, feedback, and suggestions to improve policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. 2 years of experience in conducting interviews and/or in customer service or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
2. Bachelor or Associate degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
3. Working knowledge of personal computer programs is required (Microsoft Office).
