B.L. Harbert International is seeking a Recruiter for the International Group located in Birmingham, Alabama. The Recruiter will support the Recruiting department and Hiring Managers in the hiring of Construction professionals around the world. Candidate will proactively recruit passive talent to join the team of Construction professionals. A high-level of confidentiality is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing applicants through online channels such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
• Recruiting and maintaining qualified pool of candidates to build a robust candidate pipeline
• Assisting with job placement opportunities, resume collection and initial review
• Identifying new and creative souring methods to expand visibility for qualified candidates
• Assisting with university recruitment efforts
• Completing initial phone screenings and participating in in-person interviews
• Ensuring candidates meet contract and project requirements
• Maintaining extensive applicant database with accurate information
• Providing Management with candidate information as requested
• Additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance
• US Citizen
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
• 3-5 years’ experience in Recruiting
• Basic knowledge of HR rules and regulations in regards to Federal and State Compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook

Preferences:

• Experience using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
• Construction industry experience
• Experience with ATS
• Experience in Social Media Marketing as a recruiting tool

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments while working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work collaborate and work on a team
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

• Strong time management, follow-through and organizational skills

Physical Demands:

To perform the duties of this job, the employee must:

• Have the ability to repetitively use hands to grasp, reach above and below with arms, and work overhead
• Have the ability to stoop, bend, walk, kneel, crouch and crawl
• Have the ability to lift, carry and/or move up to 25 lbs. of weight in the form of paper, boxes, files, etc.
• Have the ability to sit for extended periods with occasional standing required
• Possess the manual dexterity to operate office equipment, filing, and perform specialized skills
• Possess a high degree of concentration necessary in a busy office environment
