Part Time - Saturday and Sunday
8 hour shifts
We are currently seeking a Receptionist in our Seattle clinic. This position greets and registers all patients, collects insurance information and co-payments, and ensures a smooth patient flow through the reception area. You will work toward the common goal of providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors to the practice.
General Duties

• Greet and check in patients provide excellent customer service.
• Collect necessary fees, documents and consents from patients.
• Maintain clinic flow by preparing for patients. Organize encounter forms and labels for arriving patients.
• Ensure consent forms are appropriately filled out by patient. Follow up with patient if needed.
• Responds to patient questions regarding services in an efficient, timely manner
• Check in patients, reviews demographic information and corrects if necessary. Ensure encounter forms are printed and contact appropriate department per established procedure.
• Obtains copies of insurance cards and enter into system.
• Review daily schedule and prepare for each patient.
• Oversees flow of waiting areas, monitoring patient wait time and communicates delays to patients.
• Responsible for answering or referring inquiries.
• Maintains a neat and clean reception area.
• Maintains brochure displays located in the waiting area assuring all brochures are filled and timely.
• Retrieves all messages from voice mail system daily and notify the appropriate staff.
• Maintains 5 Star Customer Service at all times.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment as well as the ability to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• 1 years’ experience in an office setting.
• Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.).

COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT
Per Governor Inslee's Proclamation 21-14.1 , employees of higher education and healthcare institutions must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no later than October 18, 2021 unless a medical or religious exemption is approved. Being fully vaccinated means that an individual is at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. As a condition of employment, newly hired employees will be required to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination.
