Summary of the Position:
The Receptionist is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to internal and external guests and will serve as a gatekeeper to the Tishman Speyer office. You will report to the Office Manager and will be located in Tishman Speyer’s Headquarters in Rockefeller Center.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and provide a warm welcome to internal/external guests
  • Notify appropriate parties upon guest arrivals
  • Act as a gatekeeper to the Tishman Speyer office; collaborate with Security and assist with registration for visitors
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming calls to global phone line; manage the corporate mailbox and distribute messages appropriately
  • Manage conference room bookings and cancellations; ensure conference rooms are properly equipped prior to scheduled meetings
  • Assist Operations Manager with coordinating office maintenance
  • Provide administrative support to the Office Services team, including but not limited to managing invoices and visitor registration forms
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 2 – 4 years in reception/administrative role; Hotel or Real Estate industry is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong knowledge of/ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • High degree of integrity/confidentiality
  • Outstanding organization, judgment and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong attention to detail
The base compensation range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.
This base range reflects a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill sets, and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role. The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyer’s New York team, as we’ve considered factors specific to this geography.
