Marmon/Keystone is currently looking for a Purchasing Manager to be located at either our Atlanta, E. Butler PA or Bolingbrook, IL office.

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing procurement activities, specifically managing supplier relationships and leading negotiations.

Key Qualifications Include:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred

• Knowledge of import supply chain and importing process

• Must be extremely detail and number orientated

• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills

• Ability to lead and develop staff, implement policies and procedures, and develop technological tools to promote growth

• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direction.

• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and multitask are required.

• 5-10 years of progressive leadership experience in procurement and/or supply chain management positions.

• Experience utilizing data for analytics

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage MRP/ERP systems

• Ability to manage multi-site inventory management

Key Job Duties Include:

• Manage a team of product managers

• Key negotiator on all supplier agreements

• Lead PPV (purchase price variance) tracking and improvements

• Leads company-wide activities to meet and/or exceed their specified objectives; Manage, monitor, and report the adherence to the KPIs

• Execute procurement strategies for domestic & international supply chains

• Management of competitive bid processes including Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information and Requests for Quotes.

• Thorough reporting and analyses of sourcing activities

• Leverage technology; recommending process improvements where applicable

• Evaluate and bench-mark suppliers and related service categories

• Provide regular performance evaluation and feedback to subordinates

• Understand financial impact of procurement decision making

• Will travel as needed.
