We are looking for an outstanding, dependable, motivated, experienced, Manager to be responsible for the direct management of our manufactured home community in Holden, ME. The Property Manager should possess high energy, expert communication, and relationship building skills paired with outstanding customer service and sales experience.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the ability to work well independently and as a team, while displaying a strong sense of pride of ownership.
The Property Manager is responsible for the operations of the community, including, but not limited to, providing excellent customer service, selling homes, enforcing rules and regulations, coordinating third party vendors, overseeing maintenance staff, and ensuring tenant safety, satisfaction and retention.
Interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Rent and sell manufactured homes.
- Greets applicants and provides instruction and guidance to perspective residents during the application process.
- Prepares lease packages and supplemental documents for new move-ins and secures signatures to finalize agreements between residents and the property.
- Fosters a positive, active, and collaborative relationship with residents
- Knows the competition,
- Manage resident concerns and requests on a timely basis to enhance resident satisfaction with management.
- Develop and/or implement resident retention programs, including resident functions.
- Oversee and ensure community appearance and confirm all service requests are recorded and communicated to maintenance and completed in a timely manner.
- Provide appropriate response and handling of all community emergencies and distribute all company or community-issued notices.
- Perform unit inspections as needed while maintaining community value and curb appeal.
- Work with our attorney on evictions
- Resolve all day-to-day property management issues
- Attendance is an essential job function
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Word, Excel and Email
- Must have the ability to create relationships/rapport with tenants; ability to work with a diverse array of people and customers
- Must be adaptable; able to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a varying-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must consent to pre-employment background check
- Hold a valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Management: 2 years (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
- Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
