Property Management/Construction Oversight Project Manager - Healthcare
Job description
Torrance Memorial Health System has an exciting opportunity available for a Project Manager- Construction Oversight to join our Operations Team . The Project Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive construction and design plan for the Health System’s various business entities including Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Torrance Memorial Physician Network, and Torrance Memorial IPA. This position collaborates with the engineering and operations departments and participates in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Health System’s overall construction planning and strategy.
Responsibilities:
· In coordination with VP, directors, managers and architects designs new office space for new TMPN medical offices
· Develops project budgets for TMPN medical office modifications, renovations and new medical offices
· In collaboration with administrative team, support leasing activities
· Responsible for managing tasks pertaining to department and medical office relocations
· Supports TMPN directors/managers managing projects/task lists as directed
· Investigates project requests, documents the scope of work, works with Engineering/TMMC support to establish cost estimates and prepares project package for VP approval
· Responsible for tracking expenses for new projects, office modifications and office renovations
· Works with Directors/managers developing furniture needs and specifications for purchasing, coordinates department deliveries to avoid operational disruptions
· Works in collaboration with engineering department on THA Medical Office Buildings with building maintenance, repairs, and emergency needs
· Reviews and approves Medical Office Building maintenance/repair invoices
· Evaluates conditions related to capital equipment requests and establishes the requirements for facility modifications. Provides budget for review by VP
· Prioritizes multiple projects and complies with complex timelines
· Provides regular updates regarding assigned project status
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
· High School Diploma/GED required. AA highly desirable
· Hospital/Medical Office Building construction and property management strongly preferred
· Previous commercial property contract management a plus
· Proficient at developing presentation materials
· Excellent proof-reading skills and grammar skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
· Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel and Powerpoint
· Experienced with Visio, Teams and similar software programs
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,347.00 - $158,579.00 per year
