Project Manager- Water / Wastewater / Natural Gas
Job description
Thomas & Hutton has an opening for a Water/Wastewater/Natural Gas Project Manager in our Mt. Pleasant, SC office. The position requires a strong understanding of water/wastewater and/or natural gas infrastructure design and permitting preferably with local municipal systems and gas providers. Candidate must have a strong knowledge of Civil 3D, hydraulic modeling software (WaterCAD, SewerCAD and/or Synergy) and Microsoft Office software. Experience with large natural gas transmission & distribution projects is preferred and considered a plus. Relevant Bachelor’s degree and P.E. required.
- Has the ability to analyze, coordinate and manage several large or complex projects at one time.
- Proven ability to multi task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks
- The ability to mentor and develop project staff, while supporting and evaluating each individual towards achieving their maximum potential.
- Ability to complete projects successfully, on-time, on-budget, given administrative high-level supervision in terms of broad objectives and limits.
- Advanced knowledge of project tracking software (Vision/Microsoft Project)
- Intermediate knowledge of Word/Excel.
- Strong Organizational/ Time Management skills.
- Highly client service oriented, self-starter, and team player
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to solve problems
- Actively participates in professional organizations
- Actively participates in civic organizations
- Project experience in the southeastern United States, preferably Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina
