BBEC is a civil engineering firm located in Metairie, Louisiana. We provide a broad range of engineering and related consulting services to our clients in Louisiana and Mississippi, including FEMA Public Assistance and Mitigation Programs grant and project management services.
We currently have a full-time position open for a Project Manager, whose duties would be:
- Develop project scopes, costs projections, and schedules consistent with the Owner’s project requirements
- Manage and advise procurement activities for engineering and construction services for public works and related projects
- Ensure design and construction projects remain in conformity with project concepts and costs, design and construction schedules, and performance goals
- Administer design and construction contracts through completion. Review agreements, contract changes, invoices, work product, progress and progress schedules, conformance to the contract, and completion status and acceptability of the work
- Maintain and update a program schedule to include preferred project delivery method for multiple projects, sequencing schedule updates, and project cash flow projections throughout the project
- Aid in the compilation and submission of State of Louisiana and Federal required environmental inspections and reporting data
- Ensure that projects are in compliance with all applicable local, State of Louisiana, and Federal laws, regulations, executive orders, inclusive of all HUD and FEMA requirements
- utilize an electronic program/project management platform for managing construction projects
Experience Required:
Applicant shall have 10 years demonstrated experience in performance and / or the administration of engineering and public works construction projects, with preference in building construction.
Must be proficient in MS Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams)
