Luxury Meetings, Inc. is excited to announce an opening for two (2) dynamic and highly organized Project/Event Marketing Coordinators to join our team. The ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

The role is based in our West Hollywood, CA office.

We are seeking an excellent communicator who is organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with the ability to follow through and maintain focus. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the company's founder to plan, market, and execute our annual series of 40 events across 28 cities in the United States.

A 4-year degree is required, and candidates must be able to travel domestically for up to four nights per month.

Job Description

The Project/Event Coordinator will be instrumental in driving our mission to connect the world's best hotels, resorts, and destinations with top North American corporate meetings, incentives, conventions, and event planners. You will be responsible for traveling with other team members to operate and execute our series of events.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the marketing and execution of 40 events annually.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with attending hotels, resorts, and destinations.
  • Invite and engage with the corporate, association, and 3rd Party Meeting Planners.
  • Collaborate closely with the founder to ensure the successful delivery of each event.

Mandatory Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year in a related field
  • 4-year College Degree

Mandatory Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in social media and digital marketing.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and outgoing.
  • Enthusiastic with a desire to work in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to travel four (4) nights per month across the United States for event operations.
  • Proficiency with Mac operating systems.
  • Drama-free professional demeanor with a "can do" attitude.
  • Desire to learn, absorb, and disseminate knowledge.
  • Ability to question processes and propose alternative well-thought-out solutions.
  • Capacity to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours during event execution.

Desired Experience

  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Google Docs
  • Interest in Photography/Design, Event Design
  • Ability to engage audiences on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Willingness to be on-camera for various social media marketing and client training videos.
  • Experience with Paid Advertising w/ LinkedIn, Instagram, & Facebook
  • Proficiency in Excel (.xls)
  • Familiarity with mass survey programs (e.g., Survey Monkey)
  • Experience maintaining vendor relations.
  • General Knowledge of SEO strategies.
  • Experience with mobile text applications (i.e., Twilio)
