Your responsibilities

• Project Engineer positions offered by ABB E-Mobility, Inc. (an ABB Company) (Tempe, AZ). Responsible for assessing electrical design of electric bus charger (EBC) installation/host sites and for confirming required site design changes. Responsible for obtaining and generating electrical and other technical data and solutions for issues around EBC commissioning and testing, EBC-to-site electrical integration, charger-to-vehicle interoperability, and during ongoing operation. Responsible for reviewing and revising all electrical content in EBC product specification, installation, and service documentation to ensure all data, drawings, and instructions are electrically correct and in line with all local electrical regulatory codes and standards. Responsible for collecting and analyzing all corresponding data to resolve systemic quality issues.

Your background

• Requires a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in electrical engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience in the position offered or 5 years of experience performing low, medium, and high voltage electrical and electronic design and providing energy delivery and management solutions. Also requires 5 years of experience: troubleshooting and developing solutions to resolve electrical, electronic, and software issues by applying base engineering principles; performing software programming, scripting, and automation; and applying local, state, and federal energy regulatory codes and standards. Requires 5 years of experience generating, reviewing, analyzing, and developing solutions using electrical and electronic drawings and raw and mathematically-manipulated data. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
