As part of the Healthcare unit of 3D Systems, the Littleton, Colorado facility cultivates innovative new medical device products while also acting as a service bureau to enable customers without the expertise, capital, or desire to additively manufacture their products. We are experts in digital workflows, patient-specific devices, and multiple 3D printing technologies.
Our Application Innovation Group:
As part of the Technology unit of 3D Systems, the Littleton AIG acts as a service bureau to enable customers without the expertise, capital, or desire to additively manufacture their products. We are experts in digital workflows, patient-specific devices, and five different kinds of 3D printing. AIG works on the many aspects of getting products validated and into production. This includes supporting our medical device clients in their FDA 510(k) approval as well as working through multiple iterations for advanced manufacturing projects.
What We Are Looking For:
The best Project Coordinators are multi-functional as they facilitate hundreds of builds a week through the development and manufacturing process. They work with all stakeholders in multiple facets including management, engineering, manufacturing, and accounting in coordinating all aspects of the product throughout the completion of a PO or in order to support the development of new projects. This includes managing the workflow of all process steps and communicating with the proper channels to keep each delivery on track. Their greatest skill is having the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all departments. Time management, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and urgency are a critical for success in this position. Accountability is important due to the level of documentation and matching that occurs at all steps of the process.
What You Will Do:
1. Execute Contract Review: Receive POs from the Project Management Office and review each line item for pricing, quantity requirements, revision, and check with our online documentation management system for the release of all related documentation for the part number ordered. Send PO after accepted to Customer Service team for entry into ERP. Create sales order in EPMS for DHR creation and build tracking for each PO.
2. Documentation Management: Before shipment to all outside vendors, review all DHRs for completion. If not fully complete, take DHR to appropriate management for sign off. Before shipment, match pull sheets with product ready for shipment and communicate with PMO on any changes. Create and pair a packing list with each shipment. File all DHRs after shipment is complete and DHR has all appropriate sign offs into filing system. Adhere to ISO 13485 and the 3DS Quality Management system in creating the DHR as required.
3. Communication: Facilitate vendor shipments to HIP, Wire, and surface finishing vendors by communicating via phone and email. Complete routers and notify suppliers via emails of parts coming to their facility. Communicate with external customers in a professional manner. Communicate with internal about items scheduled for shipment in the coming days to ensure products stay on track for delivery as scheduled with the customer. Be able to take ownership of moving builds along the process and on time.
4. Inventory Management: Manage internal inventory on a daily basis by verifying physical inventory to what is electronically documented and blind counts. Update PMO of any issues or change in inventory. Manage shipping material inventory, placing orders with Supply Chain when needed.
5. Part Packaging: Heat seal parts individually. Count parts after packaging. Bulk package parts and place in appropriate boxes for shipment to the customer when scheduled.
6. Coordinate Test Samples: Coordinate test samples with testing facility and Planning for priorities. Create packing list and labels for shipment to facility and easy sample identification. Verify that all dates and build IDs match traveler, packing list, and labels. Neatly maintain organization of all samples as shipments are large. Maintain sample log as samples go out and test results come in. All test results received will have a physical copy paired with each build.
7. Labeling: Identify all parts with labels for identification through the manufacturing process. Create all labels for parts before build is complete and pair with traveler at the machine. At the time of shipment, create final labels for each build. Verify count of parts before printing labels for shipment.
8. Build Review: Review all builds prepared by the Application Engineers. Verify items placed on build match calendar appointment as well as build file used. Verify DHR is error free and includes all documentation needed for the entire manufacturing process. Coordinate with build prep on any schedule changes to adjust priorities, on a minute-by-minute or hour-by-hour basis as necessary.
9. Performance Tracking: Track and report various aspects of the manufacturing process in order to identify areas of improvement and risks to projects. Communicate those findings within the AIG group and assist in resolving issues.
Qualifications - External
What You Will Need:
A Project Coordinator for a contract manufacturing company needs to have at least 1 year of work experience and a High School Diploma or GED. Your work experience could include a background in any administrative positions for any type of business. Understanding of the manufacturing process and practices is a plus. Previous customer service experience is helpful.
What You Would Like to Know:
· Salary Range: $48,400 - $67,700 annually (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data)
· In addition to a salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based upon company performance.
