Program Manager, Scholar Talent Program Quality and Evaluation

Nationally recognized for achieving outstanding academic results for students from all backgrounds and zip codes, we have created an innovative K-12 school model that is preparing current and future generations of children with the subject mastery and skills to succeed in college and life. We now need a results-driven Program Manager, K-12 Scholar Talent Quality and Evaluation to join our school community.

Reporting to the Leader of K-12 Scholar Talent, the Program Manager, Scholar Talent Quality and Evaluation will be a results-driven professional looking to use strong organizational and project management skills and their rich teaching content knowledge to support current and future program evaluation and upscaling teacher talent.

Key responsibilities include:

• In partnership with the manager conceptualize, edit, and write a highly rigorous program evaluation system for Scholar Talent programs K-12.

• In partnership with school-based Scholar Talent Leads and Program Managers, observe lessons and analyze student work and data to ensure content is implemented across our network of schools with a high level of fidelity; these observations and critical study of scholar work will be used to develop the practice of our Performing Arts teachers.

• In partnership with the manager, lead specific teacher training sessions, and the onboarding and development of Scholar Talent ATs.

• Support key cross-content Scholar Talent initiatives and program needs including partnering with Operations on event and club planning and logistics, partnering with Talent Acquisition on teacher hiring, and partnering with school based leaders on Scholar Talent teacher performance management.

• Execute team processes and project guidelines, and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.

A successful applicant will have the following skills, characteristics, and values:

• Demonstrated content knowledge expertise in a field of Scholar Talent;

• Previous educational experience and a history of a high performing program;

• Extraordinarily high standards for students and one’s own work product;

• Hold at least a B.F.A or B.A in a Scholar Talent area;

• Talent in logistics and project management;

• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills;

• Extremely strong writing and proofreading skills;

• Strong work ethic and ability to work flexibly;

• Comfort with ambiguity and enthusiasm for experimentation
