Bruker Daltonics is seeking a self-motivated Production Technician with experience working with electro mechanical equipment and instrumentation. Working within Operations teams in the Applied Markets Department, the successful candidate will work to build, test, and ship Applied Markets products. This position will work with the lead engineer and other members of the Operations team to get product built and delivered to customers.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail oriented individual who will fit the culture of our team, enjoys working with equipment, running tests, and building product. This position is based out of Billerica, MA.
Responsibilities:
  • Complete production of company products including
    • Assembly and testing of company hardware
    • Packing of product for shipment
    • Recording of data and results necessary
  • Conduct quality control testing for shipment clearance
    • Hardware verification testing
    • Performance testing
  • Assist in inventory maintenance
    • Inspection
    • Storage
    • Counting
  • Complete RMA service repairs
  • Assist in the editing and drafting of production work instructions and manuals
  • Assist with shipping, including scheduling and drop off
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 year technical degree
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 programs and practices preferred, but not required
  • Working knowledge of electrical/mechanical test equipment
  • 1-2 years in support of production of electro-mechanical equipment preferred but not required
  • Ability to use Microsoft office programs
Required Training:
  • Assembly/Service Training – provided by IonSense
