Team Size: lead 40-70 people

Job Summary: This individual will lead all swing shift operations activities; to include people scheduling, all aspects of managing employees, executing the production schedule while maintaining a safe work environment, Quality Control requirements and holding quality to the highest level possible. An ideal candidate will be proactive, well-organized, positive, and solution-oriented. If you have a proven track record at developing and managing Operations and thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a high attention to detail ~ we want to hear from you!

Duties & Responsibilities for Shift Supervisor:

· Responsible for all activities on swing shift while maintaining our priorities

· Priority ONE is Human Safety

· PriorityTWO is Food Safety

· Priority THREE is production efficiency

· Must have the ability to know/learn our packaging process thoroughly to be able to step in and assist Operators when needed.

· Build and publish an employee schedule that puts the right people in the right spot and minimizes overtime.

· Analyze Daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Use the information to drive positive improvements.

· Document layouts and production settings for all activities of the facility.

· Ensure employees comply with all company safety practice and procedures.

· Diagnose & resolve production issues.

· Accountability to monthly and annual budget goals.

· Professional, collaborative and honest communication approach.

· Work closely with all departments to achieve Company goals/objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

· College degree preferred, but a combination of education and experience will be considered

· Strongly prefer Operational experience within food manufacturing, food co-packaging, or food supply chain industries (food packaging materials or ingredients).

· No more than 3 jobs in last 5 years.

· Loyal, career-minded Operations professional, with an exceptional work ethic.

· High integrity, with a collaborative, transparent, solution-oriented management style.

· Result-driven, passionate, dynamic personality.

· Strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and organization.

· Microsoft Office skills, Word and Excel ability is required.

· Must pass a background check and drug test.

· Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a BIG plus!
