Work Hours: Primarily day shift, with touchpoints across other shifts
Location: We have 2 locations in Harrisonburg, VA: North Plant at 2347 Kratzer Road and South Plant: 1025 Willow Springs Road
As our Production Scheduler, you will:
- Review daily/weekly production schedules and sequence/load equipment to run primarily in one of the following areas: Prepress, Press, Bindery/Finishing.
- Ensure that preceding requirements needed to begin running a job and coordinate with the appropriate department to ensure job will be able to run.
- Review daily production output and make adjustments/updates to schedules. Engage with Planners and Management to move work around and resolve issues.
- Verify that materials, staffing and logistics are in place for scheduled production runs.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal resources to ensure on-time delivery.
- Perform tasks related to long term planning and building of facility work plans.
- Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
