Allegiance Staffing is currently seeking a Production Scheduler/Analyst in Montgomery, Alabama! This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Scheduler with a working knowledge of MRP, Microsoft Excel, and manufacturing principles to work with an established company in the area.

Production Scheduler Responsibilities:

• Utilizes Material Requirements Planning application to plan and schedule production to maintain finished goods inventory
• Develops weekly production schedule based on customer orders and MRP, and adjusts as needed based on customer demand.
• Releases work orders per developed schedule
• Issues raw materials with lot traceability and reports production
• Reviews and maintains integrity of data
• Reports production paperwork errors to management and participates in continuous improvement activities to prevent or control those errors
• Updates and maintains weekly and monthly production and performance reports
• Troubleshoot and resolve errors with MRP system
• Distributes work orders and pick lists daily, and collects and stores production records in accordance with Quality System requirements
• Works closely with Production Control Manager and Senior Buyer to ensure the most efficient schedule to eliminate downtime or additional costs

Production Scheduler Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistical Analysis, Finance or related field is required OR equivalent of 2 to 4 years of experience in production scheduling
• Application level Materials Requirement Planning ability; construction and utilization of bills of material; inventory control, production planning and scheduling experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge of inventory scanning systems
• Computer literacy and strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with all levels of an organization
• Self-motivated and very detail oriented
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
