LHH is actively seeking a Production Project Lead for a manufacturing company in the Medinah area. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment while being a key member responsible for the long term success of production.
This role is responsible for leading multiyear projects and working closely with internal departments, customers and vendors to help ensure the success of setting up production for long term success.
The primary responsibilities for this role include
- Understanding project scope and timeline
- Managing multiple deadlines and lead times
- Manage communication with vendors
- Coordinate internal departments, customer and vendor communication
- Manage multiple projects at once
- Address issues or changes with a high sense of urgency
- Monitor project metrics and implement effect controls
- Additional responsibilities as needed
The ideal candidate profile will have the following qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience lead projects
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with ERP a plus
- Act with a high sense of urgency
- Highly organized
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
